Woven by nature: Finding inspiration in the landscape around us

Living and working in Pula, we are constantly surrounded by landscapes that feel untouched and deeply rooted. It doesn’t take much searching to find inspiration; it greets us each morning in the soft golden light that spills over dry stone walls, in the patterns of tree bark, in the meeting point between land and sea. These moments inform how we think about design: natural, grounded, and timeless.

Our creative process reflects this philosophy. Whether we're handweaving wool rugs or crafting cushions from our cotton-linen blends, we choose natural materials that echo the organic textures and tones found in the wild. Every fibre carries a story—of land, of season, of intention. The wool is thick and expressive, ideal for pieces that ground a space. The cotton and linen blends offer softness and breathability, lending an airy, tactile quality to our throw cushions

Colour plays a central role in our work. We often say that form follows feeling, and the hues we choose are a reflection of that. The deep green of the woods, the muted blue-grey of the Adriatic, the dark orange of sunsets — these tones are selected not for trend, but for truth. They feel honest. Familiar. Alive.
